  2.          Deluxe Audio Player v2.0 by David Bergman

  5. This is a skin for WinAmp v1.8 and higher. It is designed 
  6. for v2.01 of WinAmp which arrived the 25th September (1998). 
  7. Download the latest WinAmp "body" at www.winamp.com.
  8.  
  9. This skin is made to resemble, as close as possible, the 
  10. "Deluxe CD Player" which is included in the Microsoft Plus! 
  11. 98-package. With this new version I think I've taken the 
  12. final step against the perfect Deluxe Audio Player skin and I 
  13. don't think there will be necessary to make any more versions 
  14. of this skin. Unless Nullsoft changes the specifications for 
  15. skins, that is.

  18. I haven't released any skinned cursors with this skin. I 
  19. couldn't think of anything to improve in the original ones. 
  20. But if you want to use some other cursors you can simply copy 
  21. those files(.CUR) from another skin into the Deluxe Audio 
  22. Player v2.0-directory.

  24. As a gift to those of you who  have read this far I've included 
  25. my home-made animated cursor: syringe.ani. It can't be used with 
  26. WinAmp since it's animated and I don't think it suits my skin 
  27. anyway. But try it as main Windows cursor. Hope you like it!

  36. Installation
  37. ------------
  38. Extract the DeluxeAP2.zip archive file into the WinAmp Skins 
  39. directory. This should generate the necessary files to the 
  40. /Deluxe Audio Player v2.0 directory. Now, launch WinAmp, hit 
  41. ALT-S or enter the Options and choose Skin Browser, then click 
  42. on Deluxe Audio Player v2.0.

  45. Preset for the wVis plug-in
  46. ---------------------------
  47. WinAmp v2.0 comes with the nice wVis plug-in 2 and therefore
  48. I threw in a preset especially made for the Deluxe Audio Player
  49. skin. To install it press CTRL-K to select the wVis plug-in, then
  50. right-click the plug-in window which pops up and preset->load my 
  51. preset from the Deluxe Audio Player v2.0-directory wherever 
  52. you put it. This should bring up some nice effects!
  53. I think it looks really great docked as "Little Vis w/o time".

  55. A tip for increasing the effect is to PREAMP (in the EQUALIZER) 
  56. - this affects the visualisation plug-in!

  59. Enhancements and changes since version 1.0
  60. ------------------------------------------
  61. * Support for all the new skinnable stuff in v2.0 of WinAmp.
  62. * Most obvious is that the "window"-layer has been expanded so
  63.   that the position-bar now runs through it.
  64. * The minimize/maximize/close buttons now "work". To accomplish 
  65.   this I had to make them smaller and move them a bit so they 
  66.   might not fit in as nice as before but what the hell...
  67. * Enumeral changes and bug-fixes. I've made improvements in every 
  68.   single .BMP-file since v1.0 !
